In these strange times, we still want to celebrate God’s wonderful provision. On Sunday 18th October we will have a Harvest Festival service to give thanks and worship to a great and generous God. This year we have chosen to support both the All We Can Harvest appeal as well as the Loaves and Fishes Foodbank.
The Foodbank is asking for:
- Tinned meat suitable for making stews and casseroles; (beef, lamb, chicken) chicken in white sauce, chilli con carne, curry dishes etc
- Cereals (not porridge oats), tinned vegetables, biscuits, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, sauces for rice dishes (curry, sweet & sour etc)
- Toiletries and laundry products
Please, NO pasta, Fray Bentos pies, baked beans, tinned tomatoes, tinned soup or jam – they have ample supplies of these items.
We would like you to bring Foodbank donations to the Harvest Service on Sunday 18th October if you book in for that service or on Friday 16th between 11am and 12noon or Saturday 17th between 9.30am and 10.30am to the Hall Foyer.
If you are unable to come to the service please consider giving a donation to All We Can, full instructions are on their website here.
