To pray for this week…

• Tearfund asks us to pray this week for those who live without access to safe water or sound hygiene with a focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo. Here where many families already face these challenges the situation is made even more critical by a deadly outbreak of Ebola. Now more than ever, access to clean water and a simple bar of soap can be the difference between life and death.
• Give thanks that Hospices for Hope are reporting that due to prayers and giving, Ryder Albania is now stable to the end of the year. Please continue to pray for their work in Ukraine with the escalation of attack.
• Pray for Toast to be held this Tuesday afternoon
• Pray for First Steps meeting on Wednesday
• Pray for the Stones Cry Out Conference on Saturday led by Mark Hendley – In the dust of the Rabbi
• Pray for the Healing Service on Sunday evening

Mark Hendley, CEO of The Stones Cry Out, who preached here recently, is leading a conference on Saturday 17^th October from 10am to 5pm.  It is dedicated to helping us understand the power of God’s word in its original Ancient Near Eastern context.  There is no charge, but donations are welcome.  Please register on the website here..

The Church Council meeting will be held on Wednesday 21st October at 7.30pm.

There has been a request from the local Luncheon Club, which meets in the Village Hall each Thursday, for volunteer drivers.  Passengers need to be collected around midday to be taken to the Village Hall and picked up again at 1.30pm.  If anyone is able to help, please speak to Iris , who will pass on further information.  Thank you.

The Bible Study in the book of Esther will continue on Wednesday the 4th of November at 10am. If you missed earlier parts you can listen to them here. Further study dates are the 18th of November and the 2nd of December.

Fellowship Groups
